I believe we shouldn’t  teach leaders to treat their people like ‘resources’– I bring a focus on people-centric leadership, using time-honoured principles that anyone can easily understand, and apply in all aspects of their lives.

About Hayden

Hayden is an ex-army officer, having served 26 years in the infantry. He has led diverse teams throughout the world. Hayden believes that trust and empowerment are the best ways to find the potential in individuals.

Hayden started instructing young officers and was invited to train as a facilitator with the army leadership framework. He has since continued delivering leadership training, working as a consultant in Wellington, strengthening his own ability to connect with people and coach the next generation of leaders. He has worked with companies of different sizes and in a range of industries from growing and packing fruit, to large construction companies. He leads through influencing, with a strong focus on ensuring that staff have ownership over their own plans and successes.

Hayden has worked internationally and trained all over the world, with NGOs, not-for-profit organisations, in both public and private entities. He holds a master’s degree in international Security and a master’s degree in business administration.
